Joseph John Campbell was an American mythologist, He was born in March 26 1904. He was a famous writer and lecturer, best known for his work in comparative mythology and comparative religion. His work is vast, covering many aspects of the human experience. He died October 30 1987

How carrie's war relates to the hero's journey

Carries relates towards the hero’s journey, because you need to have cycled journey and be able to meet with the different stages in the hero’s journey and she has. These stages are the stages that she has gone through which results to the hero’s journey. Status Quo, Carrie is a mother who lives with her brother and children. In the past, she used a story to tell her children. Call to Adventure, She was an evacuee from World War 2. When she was evacuated she knew that it could start an adventure. Refusal of the Call, Carrie and her brother were afraid of getting driven apart. So they boarded on the train together thus making them stick together. Assistance, Carrie and Nick met a woman called Miss evans and they are currently staying with her until it is safe to return home. Departure, They meet Mr.Evans and his son Frederick. They also meet Hepzibah green and Mr.Gotobed. Carrie said Nick curiously check out the house so they can fit easily. Tests and Allies, and Enemies. They betrayed the Trans, Hepzibah and Mr.Gotobed. Mr.Evans is an enemy to the siblings but the enemy is not always a bad person. Carrie and Nick did their chores as told. Crisis, Hepzibah’s house caught on fire, and Carrie thought it was the curse. That curse made her live 3 more decades which made her feel guilty. Treasure and Result, Carrie and Nick go back to their village which they got evacuated from and see what is left and the ruins. New life and Resolution, Carrie now knows that the fire incident wasn’t her fault, and she is putting her children to sleep with this story.
